Thirteen machines below can be ordered by a one-machine buyer today with a published price, a published capacity, and a way to take cards. The lowest-priced new snack machine among them is the Piranha G638 at $2,800 to $3,200. Selectivend’s 23-selection snack machine is $3,728 at Sam’s Club. Among these machines, a new drink machine starts at $3,000 (Piranha G525), a combo at $3,900 (Piranha G654), and a smart cooler at $2,999 (Haha Mini 360).
We have not tested these machines. They are picked from what manufacturers and dealers publish, and every figure links to the seller’s page as it read on October 3, 2026. Prices are before freight and tax.
How the machines were chosen
A machine is on this page only if the seller publishes all four of these:
- A price for a single machine. “Call for quote” does not count.
- Selections or capacity, so you can compare how much it holds between restocks.
- A way to take cards: a reader fitted at the factory, a reader option at checkout, or a board that accepts one (MDB).
- A seller you can buy from directly, with a stated warranty.
Electrical ratings are listed where the seller publishes them. Piranha does not.

Smart coolers
A smart cooler takes cards only and adds a monthly platform fee and a cut of each sale to the hardware price. Smart coolers compared covers 26 models; these four publish a price, a capacity, and an electrical rating.
| Cooler | Price | Seller | Capacity | Electrical | Monthly | Per sale | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Haha Mini 36015 | $2,999 | Haha US store | About 245 bottles, 12.7 cu ft | 2.0 kWh a day | $40 | 5.95% (Haha19) + $0.05 (GeniusVend20) | 1 yr |
| Vendera Core21 | $3,695 | D&S Vending | 300+ items per GeniusVend | 110 V | $40 | 5.85% | 2 yr parts at D&S; 1 yr at A&M |
| Selectivend Spectra Launch4 | $5,395 | Selectivend | 54 selections, 378 drinks | 115 V, 2.35 A | $64.95 | 5.75% + $0.05 | 3 yr |
| Micromart Smart Fridge27 | $6,295 | Micromart | 280–750 items | 115 V, 3.5 A; 4 kWh a day | $60 | 4% + $0.10 | 5 yr compressor; parts 1 or 3 yr |
- Haha shows no prices on its main site; the $2,999 is from its US web store16. The $40 a month is $10 for the reader, $15 for the SIM, and $15 for software (Haha17). The warranty is one year (Haha FAQ18).
- Vendera publishes nothing itself. D&S Vending lists two years on parts and five on the compressor; A&M Equipment Sales22 lists one year. The capacity figure is GeniusVend’s23.
- Spectra Launch uses four cameras, and Selectivend lists it as NAMA certified and ETL listed. The fee and processing rate are from Vending.com’s Spectra Core page24; Selectivend’s Launch page does not list them.
- Byte is left out of the table because it does not publish capacity. Its Smart Fridge25 is $5,500, with a $125 monthly fee, 2.5% plus 20 cents per sale, and an RFID sticker at $0.15 on every item. Its spec sheet26 rates it at 110 V, 4 A, and 6 kWh a day.
- Micromart rates its fridge for indoor use only at room temperatures up to 86°F (technical specs28), and its FAQ29 gives the 280 to 750 item range depending on the products.
Claw machines
No claw machine met all four criteria: none of the claw listings we checked offers a card reader with a price. The nearest is M&P Amusement’s refurbished Candy House crane30 at $2,695, shipping extra. It is 77 × 25 × 28 in and 200 lb, has a coin mechanism and is ready for a bill acceptor, and carries a 90-day warranty on boards, display, and mechanical parts.
What decides whether a machine makes money
No manufacturer, dealer, or trade survey we found publishes average sales per machine or profit by model, so no machine on this page can be called the most profitable. What the published data does show:
- The format sets the size of a sale. In Cantaloupe’s 2025 payment data32 the average transaction was $2.01 at a vending machine, $3.02 at a micro market, and $4.49 at its Smart Stores.
- Card sales are larger than cash. The same report puts the average card purchase at $2.45 against $1.57 in cash, with 78% of vending sales cashless. On a traditional machine the reader is an add-on, $359 fitted at A&M.
- Every card sale pays a fee. Cantaloupe charges 5.95% plus $9.95 a month on its Engage reader33. PayRange34 charges 3.95% plus 2 cents and $0.99 to $1.50 per machine per week. Nayax does not publish a percentage; reseller Kleen-Rite35 states 5.95% on sales of $5 and under. Smart cooler platforms charge from 2.5% plus 20 cents (Byte) to 5.95% plus 5 cents (Haha; the 5.95% is from Haha’s store FAQ19 and the 5 cents from GeniusVend20).
- The location takes a share. A vendor blog, VendBuddy36, puts host commissions at 5% to 20% of gross sales. It cites no survey.
- Smart coolers carry a fixed monthly cost. On $500 of monthly sales the platform fees come to $65 to $178; the fee comparison works it through by platform.
What a vending machine costs adds freight, permits, and insurance to the machine price. Refurbished machines with a warranty start at $1,295; used vending machines lists them.
