Weimi lists a double-door smart fridge at $2,179 to $2,473 as a factory order (Weimi8). Haha sells a smart cooler from a US warehouse at $2,999 (Haha9), and Weimi sells an AI machine delivered from US stock at $3,891 to $4,500 (Weimi6).
The difference between the factory price and the US price is freight, duty, a broker, and the risk of being the importer.

Micron Vending7, which shares contact addresses with Weimi, lists factory terms of 45 to 60 days of production, then 15 to 60 days of shipping, with half paid as a deposit and half before shipment.
What gets added
Freight and insurance. Not shown on the listings.
Duty. The base US tariff on vending machines, heading 8476, is zero (US Harmonized Tariff Schedule13). Additional duties on goods from China sit on top of it and have changed repeatedly since 2025. A third-party tariff tracker showed 37.5% on refrigerated beverage vending machines (HTS 8476.21.00) from July 1, 2026 (Wove14). We could not confirm that against a government source. A smart fridge may be classified under a different heading; ask the customs broker. A customs broker can give you the rate in force on the day you order.
Broker and processing fees.
An importer’s worked example21 from April 2025, when rates were different, shows the shape: a $2,000 factory price became $3,272.71 landed, made up of $900 in duties, $240 in freight and insurance, $100 for the broker, and $32.71 in processing fees.
Federal rules on the machine itself
- Refrigerant. Since January 1, 2025 the EPA bars the manufacture and import of vending machines using refrigerants with a global warming potential above 150 (EPA15). Weimi’s US-stock unit6 states R290, which meets it. For any other machine, ask which refrigerant it uses.
- Energy. Refrigerated beverage vending machines sold in the US have to meet Department of Energy16 efficiency standards.
- Safety. UL 54118 is the safety standard for refrigerated vending machines.
- Sanitation. NSF/ANSI 2517 covers food and beverage vending machines. California’s food code19 requires vending machines to be built to NSF or NAMA standards or the equivalent.
CE, FCC, CB, and RoHS marks are not a UL, ETL, or NSF listing. Ask for the certificate for the exact model.

What one fetches used
A “2024 TCN smart vending machine” with a Nayax Onyx reader was listed on Craigslist20 in Santa Rosa at $10,000 in October 2026. That was the asking price.
