From Nayax’s VPOS Touch page1 on October 3, 2026. The set includes the device, antenna, cable, and a QR sticker. The standard cable is 3 ft; Nayax offers a 9 ft cable for MDB or pulse installs at $15 extra.

The Vending Bundle2 is listed “From $447” and “As low as $427”. Its builder prices the MDB reader at $390, a Nayax test card at $2, and an EasiFit adapter, for taking bills alongside cards, at $35. The bundle page shows an activation fee of $20 per unit in the US. Nayax’s FAQ3 describes it as a one-time $20 fee on a new customer’s first order.

The reader carries a 12-month limited warranty, and the FAQ says “We do not accept any returns.” The shop offers interest-free financing through Nayax Capital at checkout (Nayax1).

Monthly plan and payouts

Nayax’s shop offers one package: “Cashless, Operations & Inventory: $9.99 per month” per device (Nayax1). Funds go to your bank account weekly, invoiced net of the monthly fee per machine (FAQ3).

Two resellers list $7.95 a month instead. Kleen-Rite adds that “In some cases, you can opt out of the monthly fee” if you do not need the advanced options (Kleen-Rite10).

Processing rates

Not published by Nayax. The checkout asks for your minimum and maximum item price and whether you sell CBD, then sets the rate (Nayax1). The only figures we found are from resellers:

  • Kleen-Rite: 5.95% per transaction, recommended for sales of $5 and under, or 2.5% plus $0.10, recommended above $5 (Kleen-Rite10).
  • D&S Vending: 5.95% per transaction (D&S9).

On Kleen-Rite’s figures the two options cost the same at a $2.90 sale. Above that, 2.5% plus $0.10 is cheaper: on a $4 item it is $0.20 against $0.24. Ask Nayax which option you are on and get the rate in writing.

Reseller prices

Prices on October 3, 2026. D&S says activation can take 3 to 5 days, the units run on Verizon 4G, and they work only in the United States (D&S9). Kleen-Rite supplies an MDB cable and a test card with the unit (Kleen-Rite10).

Which machines it fits

The VPOS Touch page lists MDB Level 1 machine makers: AMS, Automatic Products, Crane/National/GPL, Dixie-Narco, Fastcorp, Jofemar, Royal Vendors, USI/Wittern, and Vendtronics/Seaga. MDB Level 3 is described as “Smart Vending Machines (Commonly Manufactured in Asia)” (Nayax1). Supported protocols are MDB, DEX, DDCMP, pulse, VCCS, and JVMA.

The reader has a 2.4-inch color touchscreen, an IP55 dust and water rating, and an operating range of −4°F to 131°F (Nayax1). In the US it takes EMV chip, contactless, and swiped Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex, plus closed-loop student and employee cards (FAQ3). Nayax says the reader “Increases your revenue by up to 40%” and gives no source.

Onyx

Nayax’s US shop address for the Onyx reader returned “404 Not Found” on October 3, 2026 (Onyx URL5). The shop’s device menu lists VPOS Touch, Nova Market, and Nova 55F (Nayax1). We found no US price for Onyx.

Nova Smart Cooler S and H

Both cooler pages end in a “Let’s talk” form, with no price, monthly fee, or warranty. The Nova Smart Cooler S6 “pairs Shekel’s AI-powered product recognition” with weight tracking. The Nova Smart Cooler H7 is “powered by HAHA Vending”, uses cameras, and says “No weighing required”; its page still carries a “Weight-Tracking Technology” panel copied from the S page.

VendGuys sells a Haha cooler with a Nayax reader as the “HAHA - Smart Cooler Pro powered by Nayax”, model US542NX, at $4,900 (regular $5,200) with free shipping, and calls it “Exclusively available from Vend Guys” (VendGuys11). It lists a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, 18.72 cu ft, 29.9 × 29.1 × 79.5 in, 264.5 lb, and two vision cameras. It promises delivery to the mainland US within 5 business days and payouts within 2 to 3 business days. Haha vending machines covers Haha’s own prices and fees.

We have not tested a Nova cooler or the VendGuys Haha model. Smart coolers compared lists the brands that do publish prices.

Card holds

Nayax calls the amount its readers authorize before a sale “Default Credit” (Nayax University8). It works in one of two modes:

  • Virtual Credit, which Nayax calls the most common and the default on modern Nayax machines, reserves no money in the customer’s account.
  • Bank Hold, typically on older third-party hardware, reserves the amount. Nayax says release is automatic but depends on the customer’s bank and “can take 1 to 5 business days”.

Default Credit is a ceiling, so a purchase above it is declined. Nayax says to set it to the most expensive item, or to the largest possible basket on machines that sell several items per session. It is set per machine. Nayax says smart fridges use an incremental system with no fixed Default Credit. Pre-authorization holds compares other platforms.

Company and support

Nayax was founded in 2005 and trades on NASDAQ and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange as NYAX. Its US office is at Executive Plaza 1, 11350 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland (about4).

US support runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 8:30pm Eastern, and 9am to 5pm on weekends, at 410-666-3800: option 2 for technical support, option 1 for new accounts (FAQ3). The VPOS Touch page describes support as “available 24/7” (Nayax1), which the FAQ’s hours contradict.

Reviews

On October 3, 2026, Nayax’s Trustpilot page12 showed 2.1 out of 5 from 487 reviews: 48% five-star and 44% one-star, with 72 posted in the last 12 months. Trustpilot shows Nayax replied to 74% of negative reviews. Operators in recent reviews describe tickets and calls going unanswered and readers that could not be activated. Shoppers describe pending charges after failed taps and extra or unrecognized Nayax charges, two of them at car washes in the UK. None of the reviews we read mentions the Nova coolers.
